Santa Shop
Parents and legal guardians of children from newborn to 12 years old can “shop” for gifts that ensure a positive, happy holiday season. Items are limited and based on size of family as well as the age of children. Register at the Action Center at least 48 hours prior to distribution: Bring photo ID, child birth certificates or proof of guardianship, and proof of Jefferson County residency. 2012 client registration information in English or en Español
The Betty Proctor Fund
The Betty Proctor Fund accepts applications from caseworkers, non-profit organizations, and churches.
Please allow two weeks for an application to be reviewed and funded. The Fund administrator will contact
the agency if your client is awarded or not. Fax all documentation to 303.749.5135, attention Lisa.

Tenant/Landlord Counseling – Helpline and Mediation
The action center’s Tenant-Landlord Counseling Program operates a free housing information helpline for tenants and landlords throughout the State of Colorado. Callers can get answers common rental housing questions, receive referrals and be directed to housing resources. Call 303.237.0230 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m.and 3:00 p.m.
“Are you having a problem with your landlord or tenant? If the rental property is located in unincorporated Jefferson County or the municipalities of Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Mountain View or Lakeside, the Action Center may be able to help. We provide free housing mediation to eligible participants. Learn why mediation is almost always the best route to take or call 303-237-7704 ext. 285.
