The Action Center provides a range of seasonal services as part of its prevention focus. Because additional one-time purchases at certain points in the year can be difficult on a limited budget, The Action Center steps in during these times to help prevent clients from making a difficult decision such as deciding between paying a bill or buying school supplies.
All clients needing these must be registered before the day of the event. Always bring a photo ID and proof of Jefferson County residency.
A week or two before school begins, clients can receive a bag of school supplies containing most of the essential items their child needs. Please click on the link below to get details on how to pick up supplies. You will need to provide photo ID, child birth certificates or proof of guardianship, and proof of Jefferson County residency are all necessary.
Check back for 2016 information.
