The Action Center purchased two buildings immediately to the east of The Action Center (Cottonwood office complex). Consolidating operations in a contiguous half-block campus has secured a sustainable future for The Action Center, while reducing the risk, time and expense of transporting commodities among off-site locations.
Adding the Cottonwood properties has increased The Action Center’s operating expenses by approximately $100,000 annually. The additional expenses require ongoing fundraising efforts to offset these costs that rental income doesn’t cover.
